At celebrate recovery today, I learned two of my friends lost their fathers. I also learned that only 3% or so of Christians are introduced to God by their kids, but about 90% of people are introduced to Christ via their dads. I am so grateful for both of my parents and so very grateful to still have them and in pretty good health. Also, a friend I met through here is at the ER tonight with her mom. RECONCILE your differences with the ones you love TODAY. For no one knows when their time shall come!
Loss is something that has always been hard for me, and God has blessed me in that. I will say a prayer tonight f0r all of the addicts I know that are struggling over the loss of a family member.
