Sos- advice?

How does everyone deal with being alone at night? I’ve been struggling with that a lot lately and some panic. I do take some medication but does anyone have advice

Google with friends, and look for others who enjoy your Photos! You have some really cool pix. I always go out when I wake up in the middle of the night and look for the Moon to take pix of it!!!

Are there any late night AA meetings you can go to?

I always keep myself busy whether it is reading, cleaning etc and I go to bed when I am exhausted so my mind can’t race.

This is great advice thank you so much

I’ve never looked into that

Thank you all for the help! Having a rough one tonight

Look into it, it would definitely be a place to go that would be supportive and you could network with other night owls.

Wow I never thought about that before with having other night owls out there

That just gave me a lot of peace thank you! There’s a meeting on Tuesday, I actually haven’t been to a meeting yet and am new to this and sobriety. Definitely going through it, any advice on the first few weeks anxiety or do meetings really help a lot

Try meditating at night. Peaceful relaxing music :notes:

Go to meetings. Get a sponsor. Work the steps. Besides that, cleaning, reorganizing, projects, learning or reading, exercise are all helpful. The big book tells me to be of service. See if there is someone or something you can do to help or volunteer in your community. Being of service doesn’t just mean in AA. It can be anywhere. This is a very good time of year for these things. Ask your HP to guide your thoughts and actions in this area and your calendar will be full before you know it. Now I wonder how I’m going to fit all of my appointments and activities into my day.

Meeting makers make it! Share honestly and openly about where you are and then listen to all of the experiences that others have gone thru. Ask someone to be your sponsor to help keep you pointed in the forward direction. We have all been exactly where you are and we have found guidance and direction from those that have gone before us…..
