I love this quote! This is exactly how I feel about my recovery. I’m no longer ashamed for what I’ve done. I’m at peace with where I’m going. My journey in recovery has changed my life, taught me lesson, rebuilding relationships, and creating new ones.
Working the 12 steps of AA, being open minded, listening to those in recovery, going to different churches and other recovery programs has given me strength and hope and a blessed experience in Recovery.
It’s not always peaches and cream! But with these tools I’m getting passed the tough times with ease and comfort. Help someone else today. Simply call them, see how their doing. Talk recovery with them. Share you tools. Listen to their struggles. Share your struggles. But most importantly share your strengths and hope.
Have a beautiful day my friends! Meditation for three minutes today. Repeat God over and over during your meditation. Get as close to your higher power as you can.

Amen. I’ve become much more vocal and willing to share my story during this recovery. It’s made me stronger, and has helped others.

Awesome brother! Our sobriety only works if we give it away. Keep up the good work!
