Speaking Opportunities

Speaking was an important piece of my first recovery, it helped keep me sober. I stopped doing those things, and I relapsed. Now that I’m building my sobriety again, I’m again getting speaking/sharing opportunities. It feels REALLY good to be able to give back again.

I think I need to do this as well! Although I still need more sobriety time under my belt, being on her alone and sharing my struggles and giving feedback to others has been something greatly missing for me! As a counselor I was only doing the helping others side & I fell apart. I have learned I NEED both but I can’t help others when I’m in need of help. I have always wanted to be a motivational speaker for students and it’s still on my goal list
