Spend last night celebrating a friends birthday at a bar and grill last night, the biggest challenge wasn’t my craving but the peer pressure to have one was non stop. I had my side filled with Tequila Blue shots and cocktails full because they came pouring in non stop from around the table…I didn’t have a single one! Serenity pray and words from my sponsor pushed me through it and I’m still sober today!!!

Sounds like a rough night! Glad you made it thru without a drink! Hope it made you realize that you need to make changes in your life. How many more times do you, or can you go thru this? Recovery is more than just hanging out with old friends and watching them get hammered. Recovery is a whole new life. A new life that you will enjoy and feel free.
