Spent all day at universal yesterday. There is soooo much booze EVERYWHERE... And I didn't have a drop, nor have a single thought about drinking!
Ended up walking 11+ miles and my feet are SORE, but it was well worth it. Such an amazing day!

Not to worry! They have LOTS of ways to get that money out of you anyway. Wouldn't put it past them to hold you by the ankles and shake the money out like in the cartoons.

Oh man, I was petrified of that for a long time. I'm not entirely sure what changed, but 6ish months into this go round I decided to go see a comedy show at this tiny comedy club next to my house. Called my parents and let them know what I was up to so they knew just in case I did mess up. As soon as I walked in it hit me that I knew for absolute sure I was not going to drink. Don't know exactly when my mentality shifted for that though. Yesterday was another big test - but I'm visiting my best friend here, so he was prepared to help me if I needed it. He doesn't quite understand the addict, but he knows that sobriety is important to me, so it's important to him. Just wish the dude didn't live down in Florida.
