Had the best night tonight. I went to a meeting I've never been to. And there was 2 guys coming back, one that had 15 years before, and another with half a dozen years or so before. And I only have 55 days clean. And they asked me to share, and I think it was the best share, I've had yet in recovery. And I got goose bumps. and feel like I helped alot of people with my share tonight. I dunno It feels like I had my first spiritual awakening tonight? So happy goodnight world

That’s awesome! That must have felt pretty amazing. I’ve been to a few meetings and there are a lot of people that have been sober for a long time and still go. My experience is that they love newbies and are thrilled to have you there. You have so much you can learn from them and they can learn from you. Congratulations on 55 days of sobriety and for finding a group that speaks to you, brings you that joy and experience.

Thanks Melissa I as well love this for me I don't know what a spiritual awakening is supposed to feel like but iam pretty sure that other night felt like one lol I use to hate meetings but now love them

Yes it felt great I've always hear of spiritual awakenings but that one actually felt like it to me and it was amazing and scary and different all at the same time specially for it to happen at a meeting I have never been before and was meeting people I've never met before it was cool
