Wanting a sponsor means part of you still wants sobriety, even if you’re using rn. Proud of you.

If you can’t get to an in person AA meeting yet, you can still get in a room today. InTheRooms.com has online AA meetings all day, you can listen, share, and even message women after and ask about sponsorship.
On the official AA website there’s a meeting finder, and most local AA area sites list hotlines. When you call, you can literally say “I need a meeting and I’m looking for a sponsor” and they’ll guide you. That’s normal, they hear it every day.
For right now, focus on making a plan of action, this app, message and add friends, all of it helps. Addiction grows in isolation, recovery grows when you stay connected.
You’re not disqualified from getting help because you’re using. This is exactly when you reach. Keep reaching.
