How does one go about finding online meetings and a sponsor? I have never been to a meeting but I feel like I need the extra support. I have failed too many times trying to stop drinking on my own.

Find a good women's meeting in your area and you will find many women who will want to sponsor you.

Good luck to you! Just tell them you are new and you want to stop drinking. Plenty of people in the rooms will be more than happy to help you out. The newcomer is the most important person in the room.

The meeting guide is a great place to start the first meeting you go to get some phone numbers and they’ll know of all sorts of meetings. Maybe even some that aren’t on the list. Stay in the heard. Welcome!!
