St. Patrick’s Day

With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, what do you do to celebrate? Do you celebrate?
It has never been a big holiday for my family but we do endulge my mother and have beef and cabbage for dinner every year.

I had my more than fair share of green beer on St. Pat's Day. I also had two Irish (direct from Ireland) sisters as roommates and enjoyed an authentic Irish Coffee with Bushmills on the day O' Green.

I'm no where near Irish (Tauwanese/Eastern European mix) my rookies told/sang to me (poorly) that I "don't have to be Irish to be Irish."

March 17th is way different for me in sobriety. I stay clear of places that could get me in trouble. I would wear green to participate in a company event. If I can find amazing (read Good to Great by Jim Collins, most people stop at good) corned beef, cabbage and potatoes I'll have a bite with a Coke Zero.

I find it an elementary day of boozing, like the day before Thanksgiving, and don't want that chaos in my life, just for today.

Well I’m a red headed, fiery Irish girl who just doesn’t go to the pub anymore :shamrock::ireland:

Didn't. it's just another da to me.

Corned beef with cabbage and a coke sounds like my kind of St. Patrick’s Day!

Were you able to find some today?

I love it!!

Same. It’s never been a day I really thought about.

I had some Coke Zero, Lasagna and a Salad. I also forgot to wear the one green shirt I purchased for today. Epic fail! Lol

Sober celebrations are underrated. Hope you found a way to enjoy it.
