Welcome back! What are you going to do differently to stay sober? I was told the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

The thing that helps me the most is simply realizing that in the past when I thought it was fun to drink it was an illusion, from advertisements to culture, and that the poison I was drinking has no benefit at all for me.

That's a start. My hope for you is that you've hit your bottom and have the gift of desperation to do something wild and crazy and make a change.

I learned once a pink cloud has passed i am defenseless against the first drink. I had to make some simple changes and I'm a complicated person.

My way of life has changed in a manner I could not have dreamed of. Both the great and horrible times.
