Starting over once again. This is so hard.
But you are still here and able to start over. I call that a win. Take it as it comes. A minute at a time if you need to
Me too. Sending hugs!
Relapse has been apart of my story. Just remember the reason I take life in 24 hr intervals is if I think about the past I become full of anger, sadness, and resentments. If I focus on the future I tend to be full of anxiety and fear. I'm not built to handle any of those emotions. But I find peace, and sobriety when I just focus on what today has to offer. It won't always be sunshine and romance, but it is much easier to handle.
Good evening. Congratulations on making your way back to day one. So many alcoholics die and never make it back. I can only give advice based on personal experience. Itβs is hard. But not impossible by far. But it has a lot to do with your will and using accessible tools. I live every 24 hours. Nothing more, nothing less. I choose myself, my kids, and my higher power. I go to as many meetings as I can, call my sponsor, and make a least one action toward my sober future every 24 hours. This fills up my day. If you need any help, feel free to message me. Iβd be happy to help in anyway I can.
This is a very good plan of action!
Keep getting back up when it happens.
I am too. Binge drank the last 3 nights. I am going to try Alcohol free April. March has not been a good month for me.
