Hi Kitty,
I would suggest trying not to think of it as “starting over”. It implies that not only do you have to do AAALL the work you’ve already done but perhaps that you didn’t gain knowledge and strengths and resources in that process… my guess is you DID!
What if we chose to look at it like, “I wanted lay my head down tonight as a little better of a human than I was when I got up.” That it, that’s all- and, on the days we inevitably fall short, it’s actually an opportunity to practice some self-love and grace and try a bit harder the next day.
You’re not “starting over” in fact, you’ve never been closer to the life you’ve always wanted than you are right now; in this moment.
