Got stood up on a date. Went to the restaurant sat down. She didn't show up didn't answer her phone. Sometimes I just think people are evil.
Still didn't drink, proud of myself for that at least.

Awesome on not drinking after that! I ended a four year relationship with a functional alcoholic to stay sober, which sucks. For me, however, I feel it’s stay sober or die. The relapses are that bad. I’m not dating and focusing on my sobriety and self-care. Maybe you should too.

Plus, you dodged a bullet with someone that clearly doesn’t value your time; that’s a win, brother. I have hope that the right person will be in your life one day. Just keep building up the momentum of that bonfire of sobriety, and your energy will pull the right person to you.
