Today im struggling with knowing the people who surround me are at home right now being able to do what they want when they want. While i got away for a week to get sober. It stresses me out knowing they are put there having fun and im here hurting!
What you’re feeling normal. When you start to become sober, you realize that fun looks different for you. Right now might be the time or you just take one second at a time just know that the work you put into this you will flourish. I’m proud of you for staying sober just for today.
Thank you I appreciate the comment. It helps when people comment about what I am going through. Knowing other people are out there struggling as well.
@manda310572 CONGRATULATIONS
on your 3 days. Welcome to the first three days of the rest of your new life.
Yes, what you're feeling is normal when we get sober. Don't fret .. it gets better.
Yes, it SUCKS!! However you will see life in a clear mind and see through clear eyes.
Now is the time to create new memories and create a new life.
You can do this.
Much love stay strong
I am struggling big time, you’re not alone, I haven’t felt my self since I stopped using suboxin 2.5 weeks ago. I’ve been working a full time job. Unsure how I am doing that but I am, just remember you’re not alone there is many of us struggling right now, if you have a support person keep them close, the bridges I have left I’m holding onto for life.
Oh boy, yea that must be hard. I knew someone else trying to stop using that. It’s hard but he made it through. And honestly I praise you for working a full time job and getting off of that. You’re my hero! You got this. I know I do as well, it’s in those moments of weakness but I do know if I voice it, It’s easier to deal with.
Very well said, I get through work for my kids and family, it’s very very hard in my mind I don’t wanna do it but in my thoughts I do if that makes any sense, you got this and so do I for better words we all got this for anyone struggling like us
This is your time to heal. Don’t worry or trip, there’s plenty of time to have fun.
