Steps 1,2,3?

These steps once taking with complete honesty will remove the urge to drink or use again.

My experience with these steps has been a huge blessing. It was rough in the early stages of sobriety. I kept believing that a power greater then myself could restore my sanity. I may be crazy but I’m no longer insane. Today I woke up sober. I feel at peace. I feel motivated to help others, spread the message of recovery, share my experiences and continue to follow Jesus Christ. I’m one of two out of 100 that can completely be honest with myself and give myself to this program.

If there is one thing you get from this today is only 2 people make it in recovery. The program of Alcoholics Anonymous works if you are completely honest with yourself. Give up you old way of life. Turn as little as 2 degrees to the right or left and go down that path. Any slight change is better then continue down a dark path. For me it was a complete psychic change that has saved my life.

What are you waiting for? What do you want in recovery? Ask yourself “can I be honest today?”
