Stress and anxiety having difficulty managing my thoughts cover 1 year and 2 mo sober
I’ve been thinking about drinking all day
Where I have not in a quite awhile the intensity is strong

Hey Lori! First, congrats on 1 year and 2 months of sobriety!! It’s good that you are aware of how you are feeling, and reaching out for support. My experience has been to go back to doing the things I did when I first got sober. For me, that’s going to meetings and connecting back with others in recovery. Journaling, gratitude lists, prayer and meditation, are other tools that help me. Getting outside and touching base with Mother Nature always help me feel connected as well. There are some great sober podcasts as well. FYI, I believe it’s perfectly normal to feel like this every so often. It’s a good reminder that we need to stay focused on our recovery
