Stress in Recovery

Stress can come in many forms and can also come when we don’t expect it. I find sometimes even not having the right or all the ingredients to a recipe can cause a small amount of stress.

I find using breathing exercises help me when I’m stressed to not give in to giving up or getting upset helps a lot.

I find an activity to relax and recenter my energy, often by meditating, journaling, music or even reaching out to a friend if needed.
