Stress management

It's been a hectic few weeks at work. Staff changes. Lots of events and projects and deadlines to meet. Recovery has taught me so many tools - like finding balance and setting boundaries - that have made stressful times like these so much easier to manage. I'm still stressed and exhausted, but not completely overwhelmed or taking on unrealistic amounts of work. I love my job, but love so many other things in my life too. Recovery has taught me the importance of balance and putting myself first. Today, I took the morning off and enjoyed this beautiful hike. Looking forward to spending quality time with my boyfriend, catching up with a good friend, and doing what I need to refuel my tank this weekend. I'm a little over a year into my sobriety and continue to see the blessings of being sober show up in my life every day. I hope everyone has a great weekend! :heart:
