I am glad you reached out, and don't let your job, get to you, we are here and that's just the devil at work. Your so much stronger and powerful. Your doing amazing.and you help others by being you and I'm sure you have a great smile. While serving, God bless you. I usually just pray, meditate or just distract that stinking thinking by colouring or reading my favorite book or watch one of my silliest movies I like, mine is the hot chick or house bunny lol. Hugs and sending your prayers and strength and support  God bless.

You have worked so hard to get where you are and don’t want to fall back into bad habits. Remind yourself of the rewards you have felt being sober, you don’t want to lose that. You can do this!

Thank you for sharing and being honest about how you feel. That takes courage. Remember feelings will arise but they will also pass. Don't give up. Reach out to someone in person if you need to!

@codie384862 Today, Tuesday, September 2, 2025 you have 169 days of sobriety. Why blow it?
You work as a server, whether part time or full time, get out there and serve. Be of service to your sobriety and work with another alcoholic. You can do this. Just stay the course.

Whenever I'm in a bad spot at work or at a place where I can't leave ,I just hum my favorite song to clear my head

Codie, you’re not alone. The temptation is real, but you don’t have to give it your power. The power is yours to tell on yourself when tempted, get to meetings, make new friends in recovery, get sponsors and do the 12 steps. Dealing with our addiction alone is dumb:). Supporting each other is smart and it works if you work it.
I’m here if you want to talk

Thank you for reaching out, try to remember what is was like for you out there and how drinking turned on you. Do you have a sponsor? You can always open the Big Book at pg.435 and read the personal testimonies of alcoholics to remind you what is like and why you don't want to give in to cravings. You're not alone. Please follow up later so we know how you're doing.

If you don't have a Big Book, download Everything AA
