I struggle with that a lot.
Call Local AA group. Talk with someone. If you have a sponsor call them. Go to a meeting. If nothing else go out for a walk with dog if you have one. Sometimes it what happens but better to go do something obviously not drinking to change the mood. Talking with another alcoholic often helps.

Im struggling with loneliness
When I struggle with loneliness I try to look at the slogans
Just for today
Remember when
By the grace of God
Live and let live
Think think think
Also I have found that journaling or doing something that I enjoyed before the addiction took over. Remember the hobbies or books that you like to do or read. Even writing a letter to myself sometimes thoughts come up that helps me better understand and the situation.
I strongly suggest that you get plugged in with a local AA group. That will encourage you to decide that you can follow spiritual principles and a plan of action. It worked for me and countless others.
Stay in touch with your Higher Power. No1 needs to feel alone.

I live alone and I get it. My husband left Christmas eve and never came back. Been struggling also. If you need to talk please call 719-369-8407 we can help each other. I live in Colorado.
Teresa please consider going to meetings in person or at least online when you’re lonely. It really helps!
