Hi Teresa. 850 533 7301 call anytime. It helps to talk. Scott
I struggle with that a lot.
Call Local AA group. Talk with someone. If you have a sponsor call them. Go to a meeting. If nothing else go out for a walk with dog if you have one. Sometimes it what happens but better to go do something obviously not drinking to change the mood. Talking with another alcoholic often helps.

🫵:+1: u got this!
Im struggling with loneliness
When I struggle with loneliness I try to look at the slogans
Just for today
Remember when
By the grace of God
Live and let live
Think think think
Also I have found that journaling or doing something that I enjoyed before the addiction took over. Remember the hobbies or books that you like to do or read. Even writing a letter to myself sometimes thoughts come up that helps me better understand and the situation.
I strongly suggest that you get plugged in with a local AA group. That will encourage you to decide that you can follow spiritual principles and a plan of action. It worked for me and countless others.
Stay in touch with your Higher Power. No1 needs to feel alone.

. Keep thinking God will bring someone into my life. lol. Really doesn’t look like it now. But I’m ok alone. Sleep with tv off and peace of mind. Big improvement from my early needs to marry
O deeply feel your ache. Loneliness is a common experience in recovery, even if you arent alone or are surrounded by well meaning people. Its an inner condition more than a social one. Keep going, and maybe use the extra time to look deeply into what core desires and values are deep in your heart. There are some great questions for self exploration and getting to the core of what makes you tick. LMK if you woyld like to give them a shot. I woyld wish you luck, but I believe we make our own luck. Keep going, and dont forget to enjoy the ordinary miracles surrounding you
I get it. It sucks . It will get better
Thanks for sharing this. Were not alone.
