Struggling with quitting meth. Couldn't get any today so I'm on a break. Hopefully I'll make it permanent

The sooner you put it down, the sooner you can begin to pursue true contentment. I’m only thirty some days in and the changes are quite noticeable. I quit cigarettes, alcohol and weed all on the same day. It can be done, if you really want to change.

That question (am I gonna use?) really hits hard because it doesn’t just stop after one or day one. Wanting to live without it has to louder than the desire to use. Most of us weren’t taught self-worth, we were surviving. That kind of pain doesn’t just go away, it numbs itself through habits. Here to help anyway I can.

Get to a NA meeting tomorrow, 3 NA meetings a week, a sponsor, working the steps, and volunteering helps me

@nichole234325 How bad do you want to quit? If you're serious, if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired then your "break" will be a reality. Add me and we can talk more about this.

Right on, yeah you can leave it behind for sure.

I really hope you can. Whatever your purpose for using is, that's what you have to treat and in a healthy way.

I've been sober off meth 6.5 years after using for 35 years..if i can do it u can! It changes the way you feel about life..getting sober in my 50s was the best thing i ever did!

Medical detox. If you want to quit, take real steps to give yourself a chance. My addiction was too strong, I needed help.
I had to keep it real simple. Radical change took radical measures.
I’m here if you want to talk

You can do it! I am meth free almost 9 months September 3rd is my anniversary date! At first I wondered if I would ever stop using after 4 years of consistency.
Then I literally lost everything, made some poor decisions that landed me in Jail for 6 months with an extra diction here in CO.
I still have 2 warrants from 2 other states I have to take care of!

However, after getting out of jail sober for almost 7 months I decided to just stay here and start fresh and I made a firm decision to keep staying clean.

I heard about the Abundance Foundation and sober living houses.
Filled out an app, got a scholarship and Girl I have more resources and support than I have ever had before!!!

Plus Abundance Foundation has all kinds of sober & fun activities to do with other like minded sober people!

You can do it & you deserve to be great to yourself!!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hi. Idk if anyone has mentioned this already, but there's an NA meeting on this site 24/7. So you can start the healing process in the "now". My thoughts are with you
