Hello everyone! My name is Tara and I’m struggling with my addiction. I’ve been an addict now for 35 years. I was sober for two of those years, then six months, but I’m struggling again. I’m on medication. I go to recovery groups. I’ve tried NA meetings. I’ve got so much to lose and now my heart is having complications. Why is it so hard?!

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. This path isn’t linear. Some days feel like survival. Some days feel like surrender. But you haven’t given up and you’re still trying.
It’s okay to not have the answers right now. What matters is you’re still here. And that means there’s still time to heal, to rebuild, to come home to yourself again. Make friends here, post when you want advice or just someone to talk to.
