Struggling

I relapsed and went through a lot of things and started using again. And I just don't know what to do. I mean I KNOW but I'm just lost I guess.

If you know what to do, just put it in motion. Call an old sponsor, sober friend, or trusted family. Get to a meeting. You relapsed so you have been sober before. Time to get back up in the saddle. You can do it. We all slip. Just reach out, the community will reach back.

Relapses are awful, I'm sorry you went through one. With the right mindset, practices, program, etc. you can be sure never to do that again. Have you decided for sure that there is no benefit to that substance?

You got this.. you can do it

First thing you do is put it down and don’t pick it back up. No matter what. Get to a meeting and tell someone you need help. Remember this. Someone told me one time that “I didn’t ever have to feel the way I felt and I didn’t ever have to use again, IF I DIDNT WANT TO” key words if I didn’t want to.

We love you Celia. I relapsed after 9 months clean. I currently have a year and 2 months clean. If I can do it you can do it too. Keep coming back. Recovery can be an uphill battle and its imposible to do alone. Go to meetings and share your feelings, build your recovery circle of friends, get a sponsor that you can call everyday, and get a Higher Power that is loving and caring and do step work. Focus on the good things that you can do to get better one day at a time. Reach out like you are already doing. You will overcome this.

Well Celia that is very unfortunate. Know your triggers and know your program. Evaluate where you went wrong and recalibrate. You've got this!
