I replaced the soda with seltzer and did a low sugar hard candy. I didn’t deny myself a sweet that way which helped
Fruit and sugar free hard candy to suck on. Cut out soda and candy and get yourself moving. It helps a ton
It’s a lot of things and normal yeast carbs from booze, start treating your liver get some milk thistle ask god to reset liver, google some detoxes online and get at it
That's because it's natural what I've learned is this whenbyou drink booze a lot booze turns into sugar instead blood so when you're at that time in sobriety your body crave a replacement witch is sugar so it's nothing to worry about now go see your primary care if necessary I went through the same thing
I'm greatful to say I'm 307 days today, never really thought about it. That's why I love candy now and never really did before. sorry I'm not much help, but I got to learn something new! TY
I been there before haha, healthy options helped me with sugar cravings. Peanuts things like that. I mean I still eat sugar snacks but I tend to leave those for like movie night or whatever. The other stuff helps me balance.
I say find what works for you
This is my biggest struggle in my sobriety. I’ve been sober since 8/31/19. I never liked sweets before until I got sober. Our bodies crave the sugar we are not getting anymore from all that poison we were intaking!
I try to replace soda with healthy juices/seltzers. It’s the chocolate that’s hard for me to break away from now I just started working out again thanks to my chocolate intake lol. U got this! U are not alone!
I’m only 30 days sober but this makes total sense now. I got to cut this sugar demon.
Hello Heather. I get my sugar rush from fresh fruit . Especially watermelon. I eat watermelon in the morning, snack time, after lunch, go home and make a smoothie. I eat it every day. I used to weigh 225 in a year time I went down to 178. Plus watermelon is sweet.
Little by little... That's perfect. I know if I try to fix something all at once, it usually doesn't work.
