Sundays. Sweet and silent and still

I am grateful for the ability to slow down and listen. Hearing the silence in the stillness and having no worry for that one moment. Hearing the birds, the calls that echo back. Hearing the rubber as it rounds the asphalt on the nearby highway. Hearing the barks of canines from nearby houses. Stillness. Silence from within to hear the vastness surrounding me in the moment. So grateful to be sober and have this opportunity today.
Grateful for the 2 canine companions today. Though Shiloh has been set off by something in her environment and is in a barking loop! Oh my, gotta love them , shelter trauma and all! Super grateful Shiloh allowed me to pet her face last night even if it was with my feet!
Grateful for the iced coffee machines at the nearby gas station.
Gratitudes abound for the canine mama who decided that BPPR is where she wanted to board her her 2 Frenchies! Love some Frenchies!!! Super excited to spend the morning at the pet resort and getting to love on some Frenchies and this massive American Bulldog named Gus. I am so excited!
Grateful for another sober morning and another sober weekend! This sobriety thing is awesome. So much clarity and real feelings. The work is daily and the payoff is grand!
Serving others today in my journey as I share the joys of life and the happiness I find in being sober!
Today. Grateful. Strong. Sober.
