Sunny Days

Although the beautiful weather is much appreciated after a long cold winter, the sunshine and warm air never fails to make me want to drink. The urge goes away as fast as it comes, but after all of this time being sober…summer is the hardest season to get through. Can anyone relate?

I can totally relate as today I felt the same way. Warm weather sitting on my deck and the craving starts. But I say to myself this will pass.

im actually the opposite!!! when the fall comes around and it starts to get chilly and the days get shorter cos it gets dark sooner ya know…. that’s when i get the urge.
Stay strong :muscle: we can get through this. isn’t being sober great tho ?? who wants to be sick all the time? What your favorite activity to do ? (mines yoga and aroma therapy)

I love that!! Such relaxing activities  my favorite activity is reading - you can find me at any point of the day with my head buried in a book lol. Sometimes it’s nice to wander into a story and forget about reality for a bit

I read Anna Karenina this past winter. Close to 1k pages. Been meaning to read it for 20 years but it was "too big" until I got sober. I need to get back into yoga. Stopped when studios closed. Need a home practice.
