Support System Expansion

Hi there! I had just under 3.5 years of sobriety and fell off the wagon this past week. I’m here to try and expand my support system so I can get back on track with my recovery.

To help me stay sober, and just generally enjoy life, I love mountain biking, trail running, art, writing, snowboarding, weightlifting, spending time with my dog, and am just starting to get into rock climbing.

What helps y’all stay sober or get back on track?

Hi Becky, I love reading books, so books about recovery are my jam. I also really enjoy recovery podcasts, one of my faves is Recovery Rocks. Some others are Seltzer Squad, Home, and Recovery Happy Hour.

I’ll have to check those out! I love The Unexpected Joy of Being Sober and We Are the Luckiest! Thank you for the recommendations.

Meetings, camping, anything in the woods, woodworking. Anything that can keep my focus so I don’t think about drinking.
