Does anyone have advice on how to find and make sober friends and support? I know AA is huge but I’m looking for things outside of AA is there anything out there or people that don’t base recovery entirely on the steps?

I'm in SMART (self-Management and Recovery Therapy). There's Refuge Recovery. There's a whole bunch similar to AA. Church of Satan even has a sobriety group

“Meetup” app Has some options. Almost everything you can imagine. Check it out
Julian, of course there is an entire world out there to be discovered with friends both in and out of the program…just focus on AA for now…this is why you are not drinking!!!!!! Friends will come …most likely within AA… dont limit your meeting location
