Everything was going according to plan. Bought a car, moved to the burbs for an assistant manager job closer to family. On my way to get my own store when i got hurt. Been in pain for 2 1/2 years, surgery, shots, PT and no work for 1 year 8 months so far. Lost my Dad last September. I was told to plan for my relapse in rehab, and if it was true, id be check back in starting over. Instead I’m grateful i got hurt when i did because i spent all my time hanging out with my dad and driving him around. Im barely paying my bills but im fine. Being close to my family and reconnecting with my friends that never gave up on me has left to me feeling more confident than ever. Sober date 02/22/20 in tact. Keep going, don’t worry about what you think you might do, just focus on now.
