Hi, guys. I apologize for the late post once again, but today, we are going to talk about negative self-talk being our own worst enemies in recovery. It seems that when we get clean, we want to think about all kinds of things that are wrong with us. We judge ourselves so heavily that we feel like the world is judging us. When nobody's not even paying us any attention or not, even knowing the walk of life that we're coming from, we're just that hard on ourselves. We forget to tell ourselves I love you, be in love with yourself. You forget to tell yourself that you're beautiful and you always aren't forgets to tell ourselves that we're compassionate, you know, all normal things that we're supposed to tell ourselves. We tend to forget these things. And we act on these things because we have that little voice in the back of our mind telling u, "Ohh, theyain'tt gonna never Give you, oh, you mean you're a piece of trash Oh, you nevertheless gonna get better. Oh, who do you think are you acting all bougie? And classified, and you asked when I said that a few days ago, it's always going to be something that you think that somebody else is saying about you because they know you from before they don't know who you are now and then you're feeling like you're old and your new suffers. In competition with each other with all truly honesty. You're not in competition with yourself. You're just being hard on yourself. Take some Sun time, get to know you get to loving you get to caring about you, fix your hair, do your makeup, put on an outside, nice outfit, just to walk around in your house, you know, do some normal cook your favorite meal for yourself or better yet, take yourself out on your very own dates, go sit there. Massage chair, get your feet done. Get a manic, res. So everything that you do throughout your recovery is called self-care. You're coming back to being your own self, you're no longer drowning yourself in what other people's opinions of you are and they shouldn't have a say so in it anyway, it should not matter, keep growing, keep being you keep reaching out for help, keep looking for that helping hand because there's somebody that's willing to pick you up and keep you from drowning. I'm always here if you ever wanna talk. I love you guys. Stay up. Stay positive and keep making those choices and decisions to stay clean and sober for the day.
