Taking that terrifying first step inside an AA meeting

I got voted in to start running our Monday night AA meetings at my main meeting place as there’s no secretary right now. Last week I got to because someone showed up to unlock the doors but all of us that attended were newbies. And the week before I had asked how you get to become a secretary and they weren’t sure if I had to have at least 6 months recovery or not. But then a few days later I got to fill in and it was such an empowering feeling being able to be of service and really commit myself to recovery and to others recovery so I’m really over the moon ecstatic that I was able to be voted in today to take over next week (they did mention approval from my sponsor but rly didn’t matter much as I’ve earned a place there just with who I am as a person I guess) and thankfully my sponsor is also going to my Cps case meeting on Wednesday with me as support to also speak on how well I’m doing in recovery and that taking over a meeting will also hopefully show them how serious I am about this and that I am making improvements in my life and in myself for me and my children. Lots of little miracles have been happening that I really do believe happened because I made that hard first step walking into my first meeting 58 days ago.

This program has brought so many small miracles into my
Life! Like crazy enough I finally got my taxes last week. I won $800 at the casino last week. And I woke up to an extra $10,000 in my account today. All I need to help find an attorney to fight a CACI grievance hearing. I have no clue where to find one tho
