Taking time for Yourself in Recovery

Taking time for yourself can mean many different things. It can mean taking yourself on a vacation, just taking a day to relax, just taking a break in the day and staying to yourself.

I think taking time for yourself is crucial, recharging your social battery and just being alone. Every night before I go to bed I will got to bed an hour earlier so I can just lay in bed, read or be on my phone and just relax.

Quick Question! How do you take time for yourself each day?

I always give myself at least an hour of relaxing TV :tv: time at the end of each day.
I also make sure I get at least one day each week to spend some fun time with my best friend.

That time is invaluable. Peace of mind, think of the positives for the day, who helped that effort and a short prayer of thanks for all I have and whom I have. My night routine.
