There was a new member who made a post about being lonely and wanting to meet new people.
After going through the comments I found that the individual doesn't like AA maybe even group meetings.
So I was just looking for a suggestions from this community to help with answering this question?
If group meetings alcoholism or narcotics aren't your thing.
Where does one go to meet people who are clean and sober or at least working on it??
Check out the Phoenix app for sober activities in your area. That’s about all I can think of. Maybe the Meetup app as well.
You don’t, I haven’t figured out how people meet other than bars. It sucks.
You know. crazy enough. I just downloaded the Phoenix app today. It was just about 5 hours ago too. So I'll definitely be sure to check it out now that I know someone from this community suggested it.

I meet people in meetings and by going to church. But I'm not really hanging out with any of those people or talking to them about anything personal in my life. When I say all this I do consider that I just met them and I'm just now into sobriety after 10 months of being in a treatment center. So it's not going to happen tomorrow.
