I am meeting with my sponsor for the first time tonight. Even though I've been sober for almost a year, I wasn't really learning what has worked for so many others because the thought of attending meetings by myself was overwhelming and I don't do well with change. Change can be good, and I'm embracing all my new connections at my home group and I will embrace everything we talk about tonight.
Just for today: I will admit I don't have all the answers and don't know everything, and am willing to absorb the information others provide.

That's amazing! Staying humble and teachable is so important in recovery (and life in general). I also like how you took today's JFT topic and made it applicable to your situation.
