Let me give you some backstory, I am the ONLY maintenance person for a 250 room hotel with 5 floors and a pool. So whenever they need me to learn something new they send some corporate moron over, this guy has the worst attitude. He always has some smart comment about my age, how much I “depend on technology etc etc. He’s literally here to teach me to install a new AC unit, but throughout this installation he’s complaining. 1st thing we needed a picture in color for the wiring instructions; I’m like let me check my phone we don’t have any ink I can’t print anything here in color. He goes see you depend on technology too much, how else are we going to wire this ??? You gotta better suggestion, then we have a wireless wall unit with 0 instructions since he’s teaching me I ask how should I mount this to the wall, he responds with come on man you gotta think outside the box….aren’t you here to walk me through the installation? The icing on the cake was when I installed the second unit by myself and it worked first try. We end up going to the one he installed it doesn’t work, because he didn’t follow the instructions. Hmmmmm crazy maybe you should’ve “thought inside the box”. Blows my mind this sassy attitude of a 58 year old grown man looks like a 78 year old, but moral of the story is I didn’t assault him, I bit my tongue, journaled and spoke with my counselor. It was ROUGH.
