Temptation honestly dissolved a while back. My obsession with checking my sober app & quantifying progress is dwindling - I think it's because each day doesn't feel like a battle against booze that I need a badge of honor for completing to feel motivated to carry on. The passage of time feels natural. Ordinary. Safe. Although its not perfectly peaceful at all times, it is exactly the sort of beautiful monotony I didn't know I craved. I have trust in myself that the days that follow this one won't be drinking days.
NA Topo Chico can fck me all the way up, though.
