Ten years ago, I embarked on a spiritual journey which I firmly believe stemmed from my late mother’s prayers to a loving God who I had somehow disconnected from. And as a result of these prayers, the gift of desperation presented itself to me and the connection to some absolutely amazingly beautiful, kind, compassionate, empathetic, tolerant, understanding and wise service providers as well as a world-wide fellowship welcomed me, then showed me my self-imposed prison had an exit!
Those skilled clinicians and the members of a “society within a society “ served as a light that even today, still sustains and inspires positive change in my life. They took my vision of the world and my place in it from looking towards death to learning how to face life by illuminating the skies so I can find my own way to and through ANY life challenges. As a result, I’ve been able to eliminate the idea of having any problems. Problems are things that remain unsolved. These people united by one cause, offer a solution! And for that, I am truly grateful as WE celebrate 3,651 MIRACULOUS DAYS or 10 YEARS CLEAN & SOBER!
