As I posted earlier this month, I celebrated my 1 year birthday, alcohol free.
I was asked to share my walk with sobriety. I did my best to summarize, as there was another member celebrating a year as well.
I was asked after the meeting via FB messenger to speak at another meeting on 4/24. I said I’d be honored to!
You never know how your personal walk with sobriety will resonate with someone sitting in ANY meeting, I highly suggest if you feel the urge to speak up in your meetings, do it! The more we share our stories, the easier we speak our truth, it helps others heal. It’s important to unite as a family of addicts, to support and lift each other up!

That’s magnificent, I really admire you, I’m hoping one day to be able to boast a year AF. Very inspirational, thank you, it seems almost impossible, as I’m only five days into it so far. So we will see!
