Testing myself

Tomorrow my brother and I will be going to Boston for a Red Sox game. This will be a great test. Baseball game and bars. Will power time :muscle:t3::muscle:t3:

I love baseball. I go to a ton of games. Just focus on the game. Also call someone in recovery before you go. Text them during the game. Call them after the game. I suggest this if you are new into recovery. I still do it.

If you have a pocket size recovery book ticket with you

Lucky dog

I tested myself also, it’s good to test yourself. I put myself in a bar working as a bar back, I did 5 months there and not a drink yet.

I think that it will be a win-win. My beloved Red Sox will win and you will be strong, avoiding triggers and having a great time. Go Sox!!

Believe in yourself. Know your self-worth. Testing your willpower is great!
I work in a bar and have 130 days alcohol free! You can do ANYTHING you put your mind to. Have fun!!!

The trip was a complete success!! We saw the game… froze our asses off. Went to multiple bars and I was dry as a desert!! Mind over matter!

That’s awesome Adam… did you feel triggered for any good amount of time during the outing. How did you handle those if you did

Honestly not one single trigger at all

Long time Sox fan. Hope their starting pitching solidifies. Love the lineup and the fight.

It was my first game ever. Watching on tv does it no justice.
