Thank you, universe

I recently took a trip to Oceanside, CA and immediately fell in love. I’m an east coast girl born and raised (MA/RI/CT/NH), and had never traveled to the west coast prior. My whole life I would tell people that I wanted to move to California, that it felt like it was supposed to be home. People would always pester me about the cost of living and how it wasn’t all that great, and even ask how I could be so sure about a place I’ve never been. But spending time there in June solidified everything I’ve ever thought about. All of my hopes and dreams were right in front of me. The universe dropped someone into my life that made this trip real and possible, then dropped another person in my life while in Oceanside that has opened multiple doors for me regarding connections, jobs, and housing. Little me is so proud, little me is so excited, little me is speechless. I am grateful for deep routed relationships and conversations. I am grateful for community. I am grateful for my life.

I grew up there. It is expensive but so is the east coast. Go where you feel most alive! Life is short. There are good & bad things about any place you live. I think it all boils down to who you spend your time with. Enjoy!
