Today, I am grateful for the honesty shared that allows me the opportunity to remember and reflect on the ideas, lessons or perspectives I didn’t know I had forgotten because of active addiction. I was a person with hope for the future and found the possibilities of the unknown to be invigorating and exciting-somewhere along the line, fear crept in and I became hopeless and scared to the point so paralysis. The positive reflection on my previous sober years in an honest light is what is driving me to rehab on Monday. I use this app as another support-another safety net I may need to catch me while walking the tight ropes of this circus like life. I can’t wait.

You get to keep all the good you’ve learned along your journey. All of the hard lessons you had to endure don’t need to be redone in this next chapter. Go to rehab. Get strong. Get into a good healthy daily routine. You can absolutely do this my friend.
