I am grateful to have been led to AA. Without the horrible things that led me to drink I would not know the spiritual housekeeping that the 12 steps provide

Yes. It takes what it takes to get us into the rooms. Without the pain and suffering brought on by my drinking I would not be willing to work the program. I was given the gift of desperation.
