Almost was hopeless. Thanks everyone for supporting
One exercise that i've done smart recovery is 2 define Rock Bottom. You say ALMOST. Is it jail, death, losing something / someone close to you? Think through the addiction and answer these questions it will help you to be honest with yourself.
Unfortunately, it lead Adler, we don't get to choose our rock bottom, it doesn't work that way. Think about this.
Alder... We don't get to chose our rock bottom.
If you continue to do what you're doing and expect a different result you're insane.
One day you'll get it...one day.
What’s does almost rock bottom mean?
Adler, it sounds like it’s time to get into the solution. It’s your choice to stop digging further. I hit many “rock bottom” points and kept digging to new lows. Finally I got sick of ruining my life and made a real commitment to myself to be absolutely sober. But I couldn’t do it on my own. I needed help from people that were recovering addict/alcoholics.
I’m here if you WANT to talk
When I hit my “bottom” I let go of everything and went to treatment and just followed the program. Check to see where you can get your treatment covered and even collect unemployment on top of help with just getting back up! It’s an option when you are ready to ask for help. Best thing I ever did with my life
One Day at A Day. Start being sober today!
Heard a prayer I want to share with you today.. I hope it helps..
“God, let me hear what you want me to hear, see what you want me to see, and be what you want me to be”.
I will pray for you. Feel free to message me.
Your friend in recovery,
Parker B.
Thank you.
Become another person
Of course. Not expecting different result. Just looking for a way to stop what I’m doing
Unfortunately rehab is not an option
Why? If it’s for financial purposes - some places take scholarships or grants. I’d do some research, call around, and go to AA and ask folks.
Praying for you. You can stop anytime that you decide to
You are not alone.
