I was raised with disdain for any religious concepts. It was a badge of honor to not be one of "those people." When i got to AA in my late teens, i refused to be one of "those people" as well. Graciously, God's plan was to let me survive 25 years of crippling addiction just to find my way back to him and AA when i was 41. Now, i get to carry this message through his grace. Thank you, god,for believing in me when i didn't believe in you!

We all were at some point in time the same way. If you haven't already read the chapter to the agnostics in the big book and also listen to the study by Joe and Charlie on that same chapter. You can find it on YouTube or in the everything AA app.
