What are you doing this Thanksgiving? I'll be attending our church's Thanksgiving service Tuesday evening. Thursday I'll be cooking Japanese sweet potato, collard greens, macaroni, and Caribbean jer*k chicken. It'll be just my daughter and me. This will be my 1st Thanksgiving without my husband- I'm really not in the mood to be around family and friends.
Regardless, I have so much to be thankful for.
My son and I are going to visit my brother and his wife and new baby, where some family will be from both sides. We'll be cooking green beans casserole, jalapeno poppers, fudge, and either seafood delight or bacon Mac n cheese.

Going to a Friendsgiving with my sponsor and some friends on Tuesday then going to families on Thursday it’s the first time in years I will be attending family functions!
