That I am taking the easier softer way. Drinking was rough miserable and hard. Today I don't have to worry about what I did last night, how long can I keep my job or when and where will my next drink come from. Out there is brutal with every character defect taking center stage. Sobriety is a cake walk if I allow it to be.

Oh my gosh, so much energy I used to put into figuring out how to get the next drink. Like literally counting out change. That poison took over everything. Thank you for this reminder, Jacob.
