Unfortunately, for an addict, abstaining entirely is the only option or else death will come quicker than it would otherwise.
Many times when someone slips they fall into a full binge and the addiction comes back stronger than before.
No one should be shamed for slipping up but no one should also be condoning it.

I’m not quite sure what the point of this post was. A lot of us are very dangerous when using. Either to ourselves or others. A slip could very likely lead to deadly consequences.
