I have learned on my sober journey that the answer to addiction, and really everything in life is Jesus Christ. He is the reason I got sober, the reason I have stayed sober and the reason I have joy, peace and forgiveness today. I encourage everyone to seek him, he will give you the answers. This world cannot provide what us addicts are seeking, only a close relationship with Jesus can.

The idea that the only way to get and stay sober is through "jesus" is untrue. It's working for you, totally awesome, but it is not the only way. There are many practical, nonreligion based ways of staying sober.
Your experience is your experience but it should never be said that your experience is the only way.

I understand a lot of the world does not know Jesus. If you don’t know him then of course you will believe fulfillment is found in the world and through the things of this world and through man. I am sharing my story, and I can say he is the only way. I don’t expect everyone reading it to agree. But I am a thousand percent ok with saying he is the answer.

But I will reiterate, for other people, not you, that you do not need religious aspirations of any sort to get and stay sober, in any way.
The doctors opinion in the big book makes it clear that it is a medical situation. Far as I know, Jesus doesn't do anything for cancer, so....
People are dying out here due to these addictions. Telling them a religious conversion is thr o ly way only adds to that death toll. The world is changing and old ways of thinking are going away. We need to offer people practical ways, alongside these other methods that you mention.

I don’t understand your point for trying to discredit my experience. Believing in Jesus or any higher power is what this is about and not religion. We are powerless, we are human, we are weak. I will continue to shout from the roof top that Jesus is the answer. You don’t have to agree with it or believe it. But you have no right to argue that My experience isn’t the right one? Lol what I have witnessed in others needs to be shared because it can and will help others. You are welcome to go shout your own belief but I’m not going to argue with you or anyone about this on here because you are wrong. The point of this post is to share my experience and help others. It’s not a post to debate about. You have your own experience, great. This post isn’t for you. It’s meant for those who know in their heart the truth. Who have experienced Gods love and forgiveness and saving grace. Who recognize we are nothing without him. The fact is I would not be here today if it wasn’t for the work he has done in my life. That is a fact! Of course I’m going to share the good news, of course others should know what he can do for them. You can just move on from my posts because we are all here to help others and attempting to discredit my experience doesn’t help anyone.

Thank you for sharing that. I no longer feel guilty . For my drug use. And, other mistakes. The loard died on the cross for me. And, I no that in my heart. I need to work on my relationship with the lord. And, continue to prat. This world is too cruel. We do need Jesus.
