The art of pause

Volatile people, places, and things can still make me jump out of my skin and react in fight or flight mode. I'm thankful for feeling better today since I have learned that I have the choice to step away from others break free and take a pause or completely just walk away from toxic people, places and things.

Sounds like trauma response. Have you tried therapy for trauma or worked any self-help on the subject of trauma? Somatic healing is a wonderful way to address the symptoms related to traumatic pasts. I am so glad you realize the art of, "Let Them."
